Day One |
I remind myself that everyday brings me closer to regaining the most special and unique relationship with my son. It's difficult to get up in the middle of the night to pump and that is always when I feel like I want to quit, but I keep telling myself in those moments that I DO NOT WANT TO QUIT. I can do this! It WILL happen eventually.
Amazing. How long were your pumping sessions?
ReplyDeleteI would pump for about 10 minutes when I wasn't really producing much. Once I was producing, I would pump for 2-5 minutes after the last drop of milk came out, per recommendation of my lactation consultant.
DeleteI just found your blog. I am for the courage to try relactating. I used to see tiny drops of milk but I don't anymore. Did you always see milk even after you stopped? I haven't pumped or nursed in weeks but I don't want to quit. I'm just exhausted caring for a 4 yr old, a 1 yr old, and a 2 month old. :(
